unfortunately that's all I got. ftp is the only other method of reaching my server. they do provide a control panel of sorts but it isn't remote desktop and I can't install anything in it.
same here it seems full of promise but most features will not work for me,maybe its me doing something wrong rather than the tool
Maybe I am just an idiot today so sorry if it has been addressed or is so easy I should be slapped. I would love to use your tool but I am not sure how to set it up as there is really no instructions as I can find. I am not even sure if it is possible with my host as what I have read is not quite clear...to me at the moment at least. I am using Nitrado.net so I only have ftp and telnet. Any help would be awesome. Thanks and hope I can make use of your tool.
As stated in our ToS please use telnet at your own risk. Sadly this is the downside with such hosters. But most of them have some other ways to protect their servers. For full functionality you need the full version of Emp Admin Helper to boost the full potentional with the API (real live data). But for that you need an own dedicated server for now. Soon we try to push it also for lite versions. Other than that we updating our documentation regarding the features always as soon as we have time. Only tricky part is that you have two IP addresses with Nitrado you have to place properly in the Tool config. Just a hint... Please update the tool (or like with a new version) turn the Auto-Ban option on if oyu did not do yet. If you use the old tool version and the 5.1 Game then people will be shown as cheaters since the Item-Stock amount changed for pentaxid. So dont wonder... The EAH 1.31 has the new items for 5.1 and does not think they are cheaters..

Hello Guys, I am currently using the Game Server Manager for launching on my own PC a dedicated Server session so me and my gf can play on it. Now I tried to use the latest Version of your Tool but I can't get it to launch. I have a custom dedicated.yaml file so it won't get overwritten, so with that set in the config options, the telnet port is greyed out, seems it can't read from my custom dedicated.yaml file ? I tried to launch the server but the power button won't turn green either, also the 1.31.1 Version doesnt show Alpha 5.1, only Alpha 5.0..no matter what I try, it doesnt seem to work. Any suggestions as the Documentation on your Website seems quite outdated.
Hey, yeah sorry about the Docu... we are quite behind lately since we fight so many bugs in game. Alpha 5.0 is right. There was no real change for the tool, therefore it was not changed there. If you have a custom dedicate.yaml file, you would need to set the custom file name in the config and then reload the tool. Like this: If that does not work copy your custom dedicated.yaml over the default one and restart the tool. Then it should work, but its a bug then. Please let us know. I will take a look then if somehting is wrong.

unfortunately no, both are also in the same root folder. It is kinda strage, I used your previous version and now I am using the latest Version. I also use the Full and not the Lite Version for my Dedicated Server Setup if that helps. Cheers OHM
Hey, so I just checked it again: If you have for example: dedicated_My.yaml (your own) EmpyrionDedicated_NoGraphics_My.cmd (also your own copy) -> In it you put the command to use your dedicated file: EmpyrionLauncher -startDedi -dedicated dedicated_My.yaml Then you go to config and enter both names as you changed them and restart the tool he should read the TelentPort and all infos from the right dedicated.yaml. When you start he should start the right dedicated.yaml Just a few questions for you to check: The changed xtinctiondedicated.yaml from you. Is it still in the same directory as the original (...\Empyrion - Dedicated Server\)? (important that it is in that Original Game Folder) Did you change the ...NoGrpahics.cmd to point to your yaml? (EmpyrionLauncher -startDedi -dedicated xtinctiondedicated.yaml) Is the cmd in the same folder as the original (...\Empyrion - Dedicated Server\)?
