When not being controlled by player & auto-targeting enemies all turret-type weapons impact any ship type (HV,SV,CV) movement. Causes uncontrolled rotation on all axes & impacts ability to climb/descend or move forward backward. Effect persists even after enemies are dead or weapons are turned off. Only manually entering the weapon to manually fire, then switching it off quickly so it doesn't re-engage enemies allows normal ship movement again. When causing uncontrolled movement sometimes causes damage to ship components as well. Doesn't need to fire, just start tracking enemies. Believe it just started with this latest 1.8.10 experimental patch. Occurs with ships created manually in game or with previously-functioning blueprints Steps to Reproduce: 1) Create any ship with a turret type weapon and approach enemies with it on
I had this exact same thing happen with my SV. Didn't even know how to describe it. I found that the only relief would happen if I left the vehicle and got back in. And given that there is a lot of uncontrolled motion, I had to turn the ship off first and let it settle.
i lost my ship due to this bug. I couldnt rise from the ground and then it would only spin when the space was hit to rise up. I got wasted by 3 weak drones... I do hope this will be resolved soon...
