    Hey Galactic Survivalists!

    Today we are launching the next round in Experimental Version 1.13.

    Thank you to everyone who reported bugs and sent us their feedback. You can find the changes made in the changelog below.

    Since 1.13 not only offers a completely new galaxy, but also concludes the main story missions, we would be delighted if you would try out the new main story start mission campaign "Operation Phoenix: Lost & Found“ and the final campaign ”Terminal Nexus“ (as well as the intermediate campaign ”Operation Phoenix: New Terra" if you haven't played it yet) and send us your opinions and feedback, especially how you like the story and whether everything is understandable and consistent. You can read how to activate the campaigns in the game in the PDA (F1) in the Solo Mission tab!

    Main Game:
    Fixes:

    - OPP L&F: Mission 1 dialogue did not advance to mission 2 for Kezzel when picking a random answer in Huzzra Mission 1 Debriefing,
    - OPP L&F: Mission 5 did not complete as final Kezzel dialogue was not recognized properly
    - 01465: CoQ with Custom Difficulty Options in Scenarios
    - 01654: Manual Weapons LauncherSS do not affect Reputation Matrix

    Changes:
    - Updated Loca of PDA and Dialogues for all supported languages. Please report broken dialogues & messages to [email protected] with a screenshot and description in which situation the dialogue / message appeared.
    - WarpDrive T2 is now an upgrade to T1 (T2 cannot be crafted on its own)
    - Added info of upgrade/downgrade blocks and devices to hover info card where it was missing.
    - Added new icons for new devices and blocks
    - Various updates and fixes on the main and locale missions

    Stock scenarios:
    Default Multiplayer:
    - Added ‘Contact Point Alpha (Hard Start)’ as starting planet in Default Multiplayer
    - Added the new galaxy from Single Player to our Default Multiplayer Scenario.
    Note: To have the new starting planet and the new galaxy setup a fresh save game is required!

    Invader vs Defender:
    - Added the new Star Visual from Single Player to our Invader vs Defender Scenario
    Note: To have the new visuals a fresh save game is required!

    Fixes:
    - 01522: HUD still displays 10% ore after a deposit is depleted by vessel laser drills
    - Fixed ‘New Terra’ was by accident a starting planet in Default Multiplayer
    - Fixed Legacy Faction System couldn't be entered in Default Multiplayer
    - Removed pointer to talon village
    - Missing PDA chapters error message
    - OPP New Terra: Hatch could be opened before mission progressed to this position (changed to sensor signals for higher reliability)
    - Ashon Local Mission: Core of Supply Station (Mission part 3) could be destroyed ahead of mission progress
    - Ningues Local Mission: Cmd Rend could be killed ahead of mission progress is now set to respawn until final mission part
    - WarpDrive T2 could not be upgraded to Epic variant
    - Crashed Vessel (BA_CrashedCV_Dive1) explodes when placing a core

    I've played a few hours and managed to survive the initial landing. Will play more and provide more feedback, but here are my initial points of feedback:


    Empyrion Vanilla Experimental v1.13 feedback

    1. "Warning Low Memory Detected" ?? This still happens?
    2. Interesting New vanilla Survival scenario starting options . . . I'm guessing you'll get the least feedback on the most difficult start, so I'll do that one. But they do all sound interesting tbh
    3. Going with the "Contact Point Alpha" scenario, All difficulty settings left at default (Medium, normal) except for BP & Repair Speed set to Instant.

    I'm doing this because I seem to recall that any other setting erratically results in things getting "stuck" in the build queue. If that bug does still exist, then it deserves a devoted test using the debug menu to alternate between creative and survival, not using it a survival without creative.

    4. One bit of feedback I'll provide right up front (and elaborate with additional points later) : More BP library functionality is MUCH needed.

    5. Restoration of the pod controls is brilliant

    6. Holy Hohman Transfer . . . passive civilian air traffic!?

    7. So there was apparently a Zirax Patrol Vessel (ZPV) and it came for me but thanks to my deeply ingrained intuition I evaded, got underground and started tunneling for the little bit of what appeared to be a friendly territory boundary on my map. I could faintly hear firearms firing the entire time I was progressing in my tunnel underground. Not sure if you want the FPVs to be THAT dogged in pursuit of the player, i.e., still sensing them when they are 100m+ underground.

    8. The auto queue (e.g., to break down rock into the components to build devices) seems better than ever.

    9. Ability to zoom the map in more would be so nice

    10. Wow, the jitter and recoil with the pistol is quite astonishing!

    11. The ability to map a hotkey to "Loot All" (e.g., in 7DTD "R" is the default)

    12. I would love to see some basic Library management tools implemented.

    Yes, I too had a bit of time, 85mins in the ExII,

    I selected Custom start for (CPAlpha) and chose hard starting equipment but the rest was for easy mode (though kept CPU on, and fast repair/craft) there was just so much equipment including guns and ammo (three rows of equipment) I chucked most of it back into the pod (kept the scanner, bandage, health pack and universal tool) and collected a few bios then saw the two ships one yellow/white and a PV the shot at me with bullets allowing me to dodge and dig down,
    The PV left the area and I used the bandages, and went out to explore collected a couple of meat spotted a couple of 'downed drones and collected machine gun ammo and made it to a old shelter 'Wooden building' found an Assault Shotgun! had to run as PV came back at speed, just managed to dig under some wreckage and tunnel to the three ore spots... headding towards the Polaris area (well I hope it's Polaris, it's Orange)

    Notes : I didn't get low memory warning, nor seem to have problems there. :thumpUp:
    : The Assault shotgun less damage that the normal one 53 versus 80, with the additional 3 shots not really making it worth the upgrade
    : I still don't like that I can make things out of fresh air,
    : A grav bike must surely be a OP gift as making it with just a handful of carbon sub far too cheap, the tent at 7 carbon is... OK'ish.
    : Far too much starting equipment for 'hard equipment' start.
    : I found, possibly because of my otherwise easy mode, the the PV didn't follow me, but was there is the distance, I only dug down a meter or so below the sand,
    : I love some of the new clumpy rock textures :thumpUp:

    I need to go look at the ingame PDF things for missions and 'stuff' I'm always too busy at the start of a game (of which there are many many... one life guy)

    The message comes when your PC doesnt have 8 GB FREE Ram anymore after booting the game
    If you have 16 its abit tricky to stay above that limit since windows already takes 4. and all the programs you have running at the same time also take there share. Close as much as possible and only run the game then the message wont come

    The message it self is harmless, it just warns you because when the game runs out of ram it can crash and this can mean you lose your save game

    For gaming these days 32 is needed or even already it goes in the 64gb ram

    When entering a planet can you add flames or the same smoke effects from the pod, around the ships, and more vibration when exiting the planet if possible ?Also add Auroras on North Pole & Cold planets & Meteor Shower at night on beautiful planets and other if possible in single player or multiplayer. :thumpUp:
