It feels good just to transfer some concepts from doodles into blueprints. Even though I still have a long way to go to complete them.... Spoiler: Pics The Sparrow. Took the front end of the Swallow and did it in hardened steel and swapped out the gatling guns. The warp drive cavity is in the same place but otherwise that is a whole new back end. I wanted to keep the ten large storage boxes and fit it in the same parking space as the Swallow, so using the front end again seemed like the best solution. With the jets, the Sparrow has improved maneuverability. The original doodle for the Goose looked a bit different and as a blueprint it was looking awful. Then I took the selection tool and chopped off a bit of the sides and now I like it very much. It won't be as cheap as the Turkey CV, but it is planned as an alternative early CV.

I have solved this problem.....here. Also one friendly suggestion. Quit taking photos of your creations on space. The lighting is poor up there. Better spawn them on a planet and ajast the light from the slide bar under the hand of God icon next to game settings by hitting escape. You can even stop time lapse, if you need more time to take nice photos with specific light conditions.

The basic shape looks quite similar to the CV_Prefab_Tier1 but with so much more detailing and more aggressive, I really like that! It is a pretty build! edit: You know that feeling when you want to do something and your mind goes "oh, shiny thing"? Well, I wanted to tease my new CV and then fell for Jenn's curves again... (of her ship, you pervs! ) Still need to finish the matching SV, which will be called Pugio (latin for dagger). And since it seems that CV combat won't see any major changes in alpha 8 I can finally finish the PVP CV guide after slacking for so long (sorry to anyone who's waiting for that).
Oh man, have I got something cool here to show you. Today I built the T4 Talon, a bounty hunter's dream™. It's an Asymmetrical bounty hunting SV, with a fully decked out interior and all that. I spent a lot more time than usual with adding a lot of little details to make it feel lived in. There's interior images on the workshop. Spoiler: More exterior shots I hope you like it.
Lovin' the new builds. Keeps me inspired . . . too bad my imagination hasn't caught up to my inspiration.
Speaking of bounty Hunters... & other such potentially Nomadic Types... now that Sleeping's becoming a thing... SV & HV beds could be of use... wonder if we'll ever get them?
There is a reason for Prefab looking like one, because it is a ZeroG Cerberus CV. Its the first version to be exact. Thanks for liking it!~ Also here is a bit of updated photos. Also I love using the new glass blocks for interior related things. They look good and add some nice depth in areas. I can't wait to explore these further. Anyways screenie time! I was wondering if Prefab 1 was yours. I've made 2 versions that I've modified. In one , I've gutted the warp drive and enlarged the space to make an HV hangar to ferry my mining rig aroumd the planet and to the moon. Of course, I'm always tinkering so it'd never really finished. I thought the prefab was a wonderful design amd easy to modify. by any chance was CV Prefab T2 your design also?
And... I started another blueprint. This one has been sketched out for a very long time. Poor thing has never been even a single block in the game until now. Spoiler: Pics I need to figure out how the cockpit will merge with the body. There are few blocks that don't exist that my original sketch overlooked. During a brief weapons test, I actually had double the weapons. But this is not a "military" vessel, so I removed half the weapons and replaced them with truss blocks. I forget what I was trying to create back then, but I was doodling up all sorts of thruster configurations trying to find what I wanted. Whatever I was building at the time, this was not the right thruster arrangement. But I bookmarked the doodle that arranged the large jets like this. I liked the arrangement on paper very much. This was the vessel then drawn up to go with them. Back then, this was going to be my biggest SV. I couldn't imagine making anything bigger. Now I have at least two prototype SVs much bigger than this.

In other news: I uploaded the Centurion I posted earlier to the workshop: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1378669693 And obviously an officer like a Centurion needs a matching dagger, the Pugio: Will upload the SV tomorrow, still need to take some screenshots and all that! All part of my effort to make it easier for new players to dip their toes into PVP, especially on HWS (totally not running out of targets, it is all selfless sacrifice, I swear! ).
