Trying to find a station in the seed I used... it is not close to where you warp into.. coming or going. Loving the new playfield sizes... just wishing I could make some improved scanner improvement device.
If you like to find it visually - Good luck! If you like to know were it is use the Console and type in map. It shows you all objects around your planet.
Yeah, details are on the inside… the inner values count But i think i could 'capture the feeling' of the ship's look, eventhough not 100% accurate. Thank you!
@Xandrathii Map all : is on planets and orbits, 'map hide' will hide ALL entries, those you've visited already as well. sectors reveal: is for space sectors, 'sectors hide' will as well, hide all revealed entries, regardless if it is your home starter planet or not. But most would consider this as cheating, so do I. But the 'option' is there, wether you use or not, is up to you.
For a long time, there was no update from my project, but RL just did not give me time to move on. Now I have holidays and hope that I finally get on. I can show you the first changes today: Spoiler: HV-Hangar At the back of the picture you can see the gate to the entrance to the main hangar. Walls and ceiling are still a bit bare and I'll probably have to think about something. Spoiler: Connecting passage HV-Hangar with Main-Hangar Spoiler: front and rear entrance for SVs Front: Rear: Spoiler: SV launch tube A sensor allows the hangar door to open at just the right time so you can start at top speed. @Maverick241 As a matter of fact, surprisingly, i like the walls. I would not have thought so, by the texture alone… but it looks good! Maybe just change the texture every 10th block or so? How big is this CV? 350m or did you push the size/length limit already? Love it! The 'tube' looks awesome, lovley! Just a thought on the lower parts of the 'columns'.. Maybe use something non-grid like texture for their extension. So that the columns seem longer/higher. Either that or like the topside, just something 'else' - so it is not spread accros 2 blocks, giving more distinction. Just a thought. But then again, i'm bad with textures and it is up to you anyway
That's a good idea. I'll try that out I did not push it to the limit. The length is 402 m. A few more blocks would still be possible.
I finally got the Erestrum and Zascosium I needed to finish the Dominion. Since over 90% was salvaged from a single drone base, the actual production time was only 15 mins. The Dominion is bigger than my entire base: Fuelling it will be another matter for another day.
Today I setup my first PvP combat event in EGS. This will be 1 of many varied PvP events I will host soon. This one is an SV air combat team v team event taking place at 20:00 GMT tonight I wont be streaming. My creativity is back it seems… made yet another CV... again.. but... It is my first own starter CV, no contest attached that would limit myself I proudly present you the: Hull colors were inspired by the ZeroG-Chimera by @Jenniphurr as I wanted to try colors instead of textures for the hull this time. Since i maintain 2 Brands, and build noname (no brand) stuff… i figured it might be time to capture at least the 2 Brands on screenshots…. Specialy true after i've seen @The Tactician[ Λ ] Video.. What a Dilemma...
Through this door is the last section of the Create that I have yet to texture and paint, main engineering. I think I will tackle that another night. It goes from the lower hangar here all the way up the back of the vessel. After that it should only be device grouping and polishing up the signal work remaining. For example, I put in a motion sensor for all the interior lighting, but I didn't put anything on the sensor yet because that wasn't a priority. Especially since I often have to temporarily pull a device here or there when I have trouble with the texture and paint work, so I knew I would breaking stuff in the process of finishing the blueprint anyways.
When you use GM mode, i find it very easy to go 'into the device' and texture the wall, floor or ceiling from there. Ok, Bookshelfs and either Generators or tanks can be an issue at some times, not sure atm.
