What did you do in Empyrion today?

Hiya everyone, got a problem for you all to work out. How big would a block of steel be from Empyrion if it was standing right in front of you? “Example is it one metre square? Or 1.5 metres square.” What do you think?

 

2.5 meters tall, wide and deep for BA/CV.
50 cm for HV/SV blocks.
The average adult is around 1.75 meters tall. If the blocks were 2m tall, we'd be barely clearing the ceiling wearing a full spacesuit and the player can easily fit through a door which has a fairly thick bar at the top.

after a very long time (3 years in realtime) of the Noctor HVs, now i finished the last vehicles of this class now

That small vessel I've done yesterday intrigued me to do a larger version, as a CV...

And i do think, for the dimensions it is small in (cpu performance) size class:
I even almost tend to say 'cheap', considering all the weapons and tools which are installed...


I still need to do a testflight, where i'll see wether I need more generators and/or more thrusters or both to be truely high-gravity capable.
Either way, values are due to change.

 

The CV looks a bit like the "Big Brother" of your SV Zyron

 

I felt like modifying a little bit @jrandall 's Cerberus - NG. The side hangar entrances are now more comfortable. Upper docking pads now have access from top of the ship and finally added a small ER room to serve emergency docked vessels on the external docking area.

This little CV is my new personal challenge vessel. I built it in survival mode (Hard settings) and once I've gathered enough stuff to fill 4 of the 6 cargo boxes I'm going to see if I can get it to every planet and moon then back to the temperate planet. It's Game Over if I lose the core or if I can't repair it manually - no repair bays allowed.

 

So... 'tis been a while since I published anything, and I've had this one just laying around forever gathering dust... figured it was time to let it loose in the wild.

Tried and battle-tested, it's no mansion but it'll serve well as a cozy foothold wherever you plan on setting up shop.
