Someone left a comment on Argentspire a while back, asking for solar panels, and it kinda jogged my memory. Trying to bolt them onto Argent would ruin the architecture, but Pinnacle was designed with panels in mind. In a lot of ways it really is a smaller counterpoint to the 'Spire. I saw the SV on the workshop, 'tis quite a nice little bird! Looks like its bigger cousin is coming along quite well too!

Trying to get a seperate hover with similar style as the SV, fitting the CV as well. So that's the Intention... How it turned out...uhm… what do you think?
Uhm, well, thats a "jack-of-all-Trades", hm? You tried to drill with it? I ask because it look great but there is a, for me, new knowledge how you get a stable drill without bumping around under ground.
I'll give it a try tonight. So far my experience is this, if you want a tunnel / room Underground -> pick a wide hover to drill it out. If you want resouces from small space, take a small hover. But main challenge was so it'll be 1-3g capable, which it is - hardly…
Finished my new CV. The FA-021 Vindicator (name subject to change, because it doesn't deserve this name) Don't like it. I hate making CVs. They always either turn out looking like crap or functionally useless. This one is both.
Something is missing around the backlights, but otherwise if find it a pleasing view. Cant tell the handling, protection or attack power, but despite it isnt my preferd style, I like the look of it. If the stats are 'good enough' I'd give it a thumps up without thinking.
Got a total of 1067 Stones. Same issue as with any miner once underground.. no idea where's up and down... Though, once i've reached a 'certain depth' (feeling), I like pressing 'o' for a while - while drilling, then I exit and flatten the ground. That i'll take as 'base level' to orient myself. Respectfully, your opinion is wrong Joking aside, I really love the look of it - the whole fleet, in fact - and would love to get my paws on 'em. I know you tend to avoid the workshop, but at least consider uploading the .EPBs on the forums so some of us can enjoy? Seriously, that CV looks damn cool.
Today I decided to try balancing on top of my SV. Actually, I took on the shrine floating up in the air. Lost my spotlights and a couple thrusters. Otherwise, I think I came out alright. After taking out the four laser turrets, I realized that there were four plasma turrets underneath. Decided to park on top out of the reach of the plasma turrets. Found and took out the core. Now, other than the map marker, there is no more shrine. Getting those last few blocks is when I balanced on my SV. That could have gone so very bad if I had fallen.
today id tried to upload some blueprints into the workshop. but for now, i cant set them into public -idk why it is. the uploaded blueprints are the followed: actually im working on these 2 hvs while waiting for fixing the issue on workshop: the Predator and the Executor
Those look really awesome! Have you tried saving them as a new blueprint and then uploading them again? Hope you can get it figured out.
Started rough work on the outside of the space casino. Supposed to be a bit "shady" and will be painted in the colors of the pirate faction The Syndicate (hopefully in alpha 9 it can be a real custom faction!). Also messed around in creative on a lava planet for possible POI ideas. After I'm finished with my space casino POI, I'm going to make a foundry POI meant to be spawned on lava lakes because I think it could look absolutely cool (hot?). Not sure if I want to make it a neutral POI or a hostile one. I think it would be awesome to fight over lava, make it epic like a scene from a movie or something. If you add a floor beneath the lava, it makes it airtight and therefor a tolerable temperature. Nice to know when designing a POI so players don't fry before clearing the first room. Spoiler
Here's the CV that I wasted 2 hours on and have now abandoned, like almost every CV I make. I absolutely hate it. This one more than pretty much any other CV i've ever built. PoS unnamed cargo ship.
Been there before. Wait for Inspiration to find you... don't try to force Inspiration, that never works. Perhaps take a break from CVs then come back to them later.
Speaking of long breaks.. I'm starting to continue on my light carrier project, and I spruced up the hangar floor a lot.
