Finishing Touches on the (SV) SPQR Eridanus - Placed and programmed Successful my first Sensor - added Lights and custom switches. Many night pictures taken to check the effects. The ERIDANUS is no beauty but as it is my First...I like to say that I am a bit proud on my achievement The Eridanus is mainly a Transport Vessel with some ability to defend itself. PVE-wise built, normal Steelblocks, all Trusters can be augmented as they have actually been reduced, so Space enough to double Thrust in most directions. The number of RCS makes it a bit lazy turning but it gives the Eridanus some feeling of Weight - again lot of Space to increase RCS Numbers. Inside View The Core - left side "Boxes" are Fakes, right side is Ammo Backdoor Opened with Light effects As I am a bit shy to go live with the ERIDANUS I offer it for Friends for now...maybe someone will test it and give some Feedback
Since beginning a new game. I’ve tried to make it a rule to build all new vehicles and ships, but rules are made to be broken. So I decided to revise an old friend and release her to the public for the first time. I hope she brings you as much luck as she’s done for me over the years. Morgenroete's Chisai Mk1 - Light Shuttle Craft Since her inception Chisai Mk1 has been a fateful friend to Morgenroete and is regularly seen running between our facilities. Now for the first time she’s available to the public. With her twin 30mm mini-guns and her potential to be fitted with a warp drive. She will get you where you’re going in safety and with style. Ver 1.1 Removed a lot of the internal bulkheads and replaced them with cargo modules. She now comes with a 5125 cargo area. “You now have the option of either fitting an internal warp drive or adding more cargo extenders, which will give you 9125 volume capacity.” https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1608136578
I already have so much I want to build and then I want to get my BP to comply with 7500 CPU. Still, sometimes you just have to have a moment or two of creating stuff just for the fun of it. Well, it should all be fun I suppose. I have four collections because I love variety.... So when someone (@T431 ) inspired me to create some CV that could fit through the 7x13 hangar door, well, I would end up drafting four such CV. Of course, none of these are complete. I have a feeling a few might have to get extensions to accommodate a gravity generator, as I have already included warp drives. These are all incomplete, so I have yet to solve what exactly to include and where to put it. Sweet Lemons will get the Cassidy. Not the most ideal arrangement but it will get 12 turrets and space reserved for adding on two fixed weapons. I am a little concerned about blocks potentially blocking line of fire for more of the turrets than I already expect. So I'll have to test that out. This is intended to be the warship of the group. Freedom Trade Builders will get the Hawk. A light freighter. When I gave it a name, then I realized that I had to cut its native cargo in half so that I had the potential for it to carry at least one of my Hawk Talon SV. Even with storage cut in half so it can haul SV/HV, it should still have a capacity of 192k SU Dragonfly Industries (DI) will get the Lesser Haemolymph. I debated an open bed, but in the end I chose an enclosed hangar. This is a small HV transport. It can't carry the Thunder Naiad, but my plan from early on was to actually give DI a light tank as well. Now I have built the initial draft of the Naiad (light tank) and that does fit in this hangar nicely. The fourth is a small mobile farm. That I haven't given a name yet. It's bigger brother on the workshop is called Nurture. I have a draft for an even bigger cousin to be called Nourish. It was easy to create a pattern for naming the two farm vessels, but I hadn't considered a name for a smaller cousin. So here's the draft for the currently nameless, small farm vessel.
I think my new POI is nightmare fuel. Mostly done with it and was doing some tests tonight to make sure it was doable with T1 weapons and light armor and well... You better just watch the video:
Today, I made a CV version of the FA-030 Instigator as the FA-032 Infiltrator. It's sad, but with only 1 T2 RCS this thing vastly outmaneuvers the SV version with a dozen T1 RCS. It's basically a giant spacefighter that can haul HVs. 032 escorted by two 030s. Still missing that vital block shape required for angled ramps. Cargo bay Mess hall and central corridor. The rooms off the central corridor consist of the Suit room (armor lockers, O2 station, etc...), 2 bedrooms, shower and toilet, lounge and medbay. The bridge is located up a ramp behind the mess hall.
that second picture of that basic vehicle i really like is that an SV or HV ? and do you have it saved in your workshop for that matter i may augment that one
Recently started a new SP with build (and seed) 2099, Arid 3, custom difficulty, mass+volume off. Trying out missions and NCP faction a bit. By accident I picked up 1 sack that were close to plants, at one of the small Talon places. Were able to finish a mission to become Neutral, then another mission and some prey kills to become friendly again. Honored with Polaris I can do with a mission and/or some prey kills. Penalties for some actions might be too harsh, where it can become a grind to build up Reputation again.
Finally got around today to update the NSI Hakon V3 for alpha 9.xx with new cargo-stuff, boardingramp, more thrusters and a lot of other cosmetic stuffs. This is my "mid-game" CV. Made the hangar a little bigger to accommodate room for the HV/SV's i usually bring with me. Also made enough room on the outer deck to barely fit my Aranean.. Took a lot of time to "link" all the input/output to constructors/Processors... Do those connections carry over with a BP btw? Was a fun time doing it. Will post more of my almost upgraded HV's and SV's tomorrow i reckon. But now i need a break before the missus calls a shrink to have me removed Workshop-link: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1611111740&searchtext=
It's a level 1 HV and my go-to for every fresh start in survival. The FA-S03 Zeus. I'll probably need to update it to account for mass/volume and block changes, but you can still get it HERE.
I be right fuming I be ! Left the keys in the ignition of my treleste t26 speedboat last night, whilst I slept some vandals have came along, took it for a spin, repainted it pink, left all sorts of beer cans and used rubbers and junk in the cabin. And seemingly etched what possibly could be deemed as male genitalia on the hull. Someone had a wild night on the water last night on HWS XD
Today i finished the cheap Orbital Base for the Hakon V3. It is a small base where i can repair the CV, convert ore into ingots and deconstruct loot. Plan was to make it in factory, spawn it and after use disassemble and put back in factory.. But since it being so "cheap" to make i rather leave them be and make new ones. Workshop-Link: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1611995199 Also finished the NSI Havoc (HV). Was originally gonna update an older HV i had to go with Alpha 9.xx but realized i wanted ti change a few things so i rather made a new one from scratch. Have been using it the last week (just did a few minor tweeks now after getting some experience in it) and it works very well for me in taking down any groundbased POI. Workshop-Link: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1611995199 And now.... back to the game to kick some Zirax-ass
Today I built a small Recon SV. It's main component is Carbon Substrate to keep it cheap. Just when I thought I am finished I noticed that I forget a Thruster to STOP the SV. It is Level 10, if i had used the smallest Thruster it would have been a Level 7...but at that Level I actually prefer to have an HV first. (SV) SPQR Aquila
