I wanted to do that on my ship, but I wanted to have the switch turn off the ventilator on the upper deck as well. Sadly, you cannot use signal logic on ventilators or forcefields.
Today i started the long wanted playthrough in @ravien_ff 's test universe, altought A10 exp stands for the door . As starter planet the first temperate planet in large is perfect. So after start i gave me my Drillhammer as scout and miner to shorten the startphase and begin filling the interiors of my baseship. To find alienbugs in one of my first nights was a bit shocking, but a nice touch! The ziraxpatrols in their teritorry managed to place good shots at the cockpit of my hv. These pesty rockettroopers After raiding one of their bases with it, i was lvl 12 at this point, the decission began to form that a more combatworthy hv has to be made. To ensure the prosperity of my scavanger tribe The rest of the day i stayed away from trobble, digged and built my first real battle Scout. A test raid on the next best zirax base was a solid win for my tribe. Much needed parts and components could be acquired! returning home... link to my new Battle Scout, as i call it https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1739637153
Love stories like this! If everything goes well, I'll be releasing an alpha 10 version this week with a couple new starting planets. Hopefully nothing breaks too badly in the experimental branch.
I was working on the new sports arena yesterday. It's mostly done. Residential habitat ring is laid out. Foundations for the theater are laid out. Not sure where I'm going to put the park or the jail yet. Spoiler Old New
Nice job, I love the arena! I had to do a double take because initially I thought "what game is this?". I didn't even recognize your pics as coming from Empyrion at first
I must apologize here I have been off topic today. So keeping on topic. I stood in my base and looked out the window. Day dreaming of what was coming in A10. Wondering what I would be looking at first. Ah best keep to reading the release notes first. Then work out what I want to do next. Oh so many things to think about. As I saw the sun setting on the horizon out my base window and I see a spider run by. All I can say to myself is soon.
Ok. Pre-A10 doing: Jumping into last save, checking all Builds, BP them, jump out, delete all saved Games - Clean Stables, so to speak!
I have done much stuff on the lower levels of my ship. Unfortunately I can't show it until later. So here's the warp core of the millenium that finally has a lower level.
... boots up computer. ... checks to see if Empyrion is downloading and update. ... sighs and shuffles off to the corner. ... sad. ... unfulfilled. ... dejected. <chuckle> and waiting.
I'm still here in my base. The sun has come and gone many times now. Still that spider is eyeing me through the window. He's starting to look mighty good with roasted durens.
Working on paint and texture this evening. Spoiler I'm doing this thing where I'm adding 'fake' windows to the outside of the station. I decided to color them yellow instead of blue. Still need to recolor the rest of them. Experimenting with paint and texture. This is the promenade area on one of the habitat rings. I tried a plain colored floor and it was too bland. This might be a little too much. Those dark colored modules with the yellow lights on the walls are supposed to be apartments lining the curved walls. I'm probably going to rework this whole area.
Thanks! Yeah I'm rather pleased with how those turned out. I'm struggling with the floor textures. There's some interesting patterns used for stone or wood that I really wish were available for metal.
Well, as "watching and waiting" is not my style, I started a creative game again and picked up the work on the CV again. Moving slowly to the Aft-Section to finish, at least, the outer Hull section.
