Once upon a time...there were some COMET Wrecks...I love to "re-afloat" them... anytime I do it looks different
Love them! I should shoot them full of holes and turn them into more wrecks, so next time you start a new game you can make a retro retro retro comet.
The chosen One.. errr...The Name chosen for this Version of the Comet - this time with the Shield Gen inside the ship - is MH-C-M-T 1.0 I experiment a bit with the Truster, having looted 6 JET-S Truster using them for Lifting Power and while learning new stuff tend to replace some of the currently mounted S-Truster with M-Truster. But that is more a space issue than anything else..
Crash landed in my modified sv1c on a high gravity planet and ended up on the pole- was unable to remove the warp drive or tack on the aux engines I'd brought along since you can't do anything to a ship near the pole. It was very cold and the radiation had somehow become a signed numeric- it's weird out there beyond the boundaries of known arrays and linked lists... Decided to use a console teleport to get me back into orbit first by teleporting to the planet I was on (nothing) then to the planet orbit (but it still didn't seem to do anything) Still lying on my side and taking damage from falling down every time I got out of the cockpit (high grav issues) I tried to go to orbit in the previous system- and it sent me to the planet instead of orbit (see below for "teleport x orbit" followed by "loading playfield x") ... guessing that the parser was looking for a quoted string and without the quote only grabbed the first word.
Try the following command: Sector x Replace x with the name of the planet you want to teleport to the orbit of. Examples: Sector Akua Sector 'Omicron Phi Station'
It very well might be the same base. I'm not sure where he got all the original blueprints from. Going through and updating them as faction sets is fun though. He has a lot in there.
Still working on the rear of the new Crashed Titan. Almost done, but the size class has climbed past my intended mark of class 6 (the original Crashed Titan Rear is class 6) and is currently at class 7. Not a disaster, but I don't want it higher than 8. Those destroyed blocks really put the class up. Front view. Still needs a repaint and some dirty/damaged texturing. Rear view. Two of the thruster pods have detached and smashed on contact with the ground. More debris will be scattered along with the wake (urgh... more size class+). Port side.
Outside is complete now. A bit of cleaning the lines up has to be done.. The Tower with his neck got inspired from StarWars. Production with 4 Adv. Constructors + 4 support small ones and 4 CC's (320k each), is situated under the big top Hatch. All lights and Entries have got automation. Mostly to cut the CPU need down as the sizeclass is at 15 for now. Next will be the garden, crewarea, armory and core room. The new blocks are great for detailing but could need a bit of refinement to lessen the SC cost. Some texture alinement could altough need a second pass!
Finally made it into Space, gathered all kind of Wreckparts and Truster to get picked up by my CV-Last Resort. Currently Mining all Asteroids around the Dead Planet to get some long needed resources.
Finally got round to making a super heavy front assault tank. Presenting the "Stalker Mk 1" Its currently made of a mix of hardened steel with some carbon internals so that it can be spawned and then upgraded to combat steel in game. Lots of redundancies included. Onboard construction and lots of storage for spare parts and materials. Most of the turrets are retractable. This tank is meant to give and be able to take a beating.
The other night my brother started a private server with my scenario to make sure the server worked okay. We started on the Arid planet with a friend which none of us had started on before. It was fun. Things seemed to run smoothly. Tonight I worked some more on this variation of Crystalline Moon. Mostly changing up biome deco and such. The moon is mostly done, just needs a custom set of POIs now. I'm thinking the XCorp research group plus some strange, advanced alien ruins that they are studying. Maybe a Rados mining site or two and some random lore. The moon has a lot of variety in its colors: Crystals are a common sight on moons such as these: Spoiler: Scenario spoiler These crystals are more than show, since players can harvest them for Xenosteel blocks or Xeno substrate.
They posted in Discord an estimated date for the possible release of the next game update as September 3. This is subject to change of course, but that means it should only be a few weeks. I'll release the update to my scenario then. Adding 3 new planets and 3 new moons (so far, hoping for more), new POI sets, random fixes and tweaks, better resource balancing.
