That was a Masterpiece. Funny how a picture reminded me of the Leonov recently, in the OP here, with some differences but still the general design idea (actually a mixture of Leonov and Discovery): https://empyriononline.com/threads/the-hyperion-incident.85953/#post-363070
Quick question, is there a way to turn SI off in playfield.yaml? I'm just wondering if there is a way to turn SI off permanently in my workshop save.
I do not think that applies to a creative game. I was able to find the referenced value in a survival game but I could not find it in the playfield.yaml for my creative game.
I did nothing in the last days on behalf of EGS. I consider to let go of the game, for the time being. Can't help it but I am drawn back to a MMO I had the honor to help to develop form Beta-testing in 2011 towards 2017 when I had to quit because of financial issues. Recently watched footage of the game reminded me of the funny times I had there with my former Girlfriend. As a side note: They had the best programmers in the world, 800 of them, and it still took them THREE Years to get it finished. Compared with ELEONS efforts Three Years with 800 people was a rather SLOW PACE.
Let's see today I finished making 450 grow plots and enough seedlings to fill it all up. Just waiting on my solar batteries to charge up to 100% Then I will turn on the 50 grow lights and see how fast the 4 batteries get sucked dry before the plants are ready to harvest. Then I will find out if I still have enough battery power left to turn it all into food rations. Dang I sure hate waiting for 10.6 to drop. This is just one of the stupid ideas I have had while waiting. (BIG SIGH!) Alright a few hours have passed now. Once I started it was over an hour ago. I'm just up to 20 rations with 30 left to go. My power is holding out just fine. I have learned one thing! I will never be doing something like this again at normal production speed this is taking for ever! I'm guessing maybe 2 more hours at least.
Well that's new. The ant hill in the above image is huge if you use gm to look at it. It comes from all the way at the bottom to just inside the ceiling. My multi tool says it's a container and has 50 hit points. Don't even want to test if it would return a container. It might be holding my whole base up now.
Well this isn't good. At normal production speed. Emergency rations state it takes 60 seconds to craft. So I should be able to make 50 rations in 50 minutes. Well that's not the case. At 1 hour I had only crafted 14 of them. The only conclusion I can come up with is this game uses the same timer as micro soft does. How often has windows told you it will take 3 minutes for a good 5 minutes.
