Tomato, space durian & pumpkin, you mean. Corn if you make E-rations. I also keep some ham (also needed for e-rations), ribs & steaks in the fridge and been known to make pizza (which has a 200 food rating to the cans 170 & 150).
Nah it's the same thing with oxygen too. Anything you right click from inventory is slower vs using from hotbar. Arguing that we shouldn't have to eat so much, I agree, but it's a separate issue. Right clicking from inventory was supposed to be a convenience QOL thing, but it's been bugged since day one, and never fixed. Myself and a few others have posted about it multiple times for several months. I just assume it's low priority, and will get fixed eventually, I hope. I will say that this is the first time I've mentioned it that anyone has said "yeah that pisses me off too!" so perhaps it will make the front page? heh, though I think that this is a feature that most people are unaware of or never use? Salami is bad for u bro.
*Looks up how much Salami i've eaten in my Empyrion Life... countless. Takes a Medical Reading of my Blood Pressure* Situation Nominal... for no reason at all whatsoever. Myth Busted.
That's easy. The least fun single thing in this game right now is queuing up 5,000 ore to be refined 10 at a time.
I agree with this. Wall blocks should have smaller collision boxes and not take the whole cube. So for instance if i wanted to place a deco plant (that wouldn't actually intercept the wall) i could.
Storage.... I literally have a storage room with 20 containers in it. You know it would be SUPER helpful if the name I gave a container in the control panel actually showed up in the HUD when I glanced at it.. I like some of the Ideas in this topic. Such as splitting up the job of the constructor to be a few different devices.. But honestly. A type of item transport would be helpful if that ever happened. Going to use the Hopper example from minecraft. A magic device that pulls items from a chest can run it through a furnace and then another hopper sucks the completed items from furnace and places into another chest.... The Tekkit client (modded minecraft) used to have an amazing setup that actually allowed a fully automated factory from mining to completed products placed in sorted storage containers.
Playing on HWS EU server I find the most time consuming grinding todo is to de-construct my/enemy loot CV's. CV's are limited to class 4 , but can still have close to 20 k combatsteel blocks. There should be a way to either repair cv to blueprint standard by adding materials and time to it and/or get some kind of auto de-construction where I get the parts from the de-constructed CV. I would not mind if it takes time as long its automatic and I can spend my ingame time to do something else, more interesting. 2nd time grinder is ammo management in CV's. Filling up 10+ Large ammo boxes takes time! Would be nice to have this more streamlined one way or the other..... Just my 2 cents... Best regard Loke!
So, Wow i just checked my playhours in Empyrion....1250, man i need a life. Anyway....A short list of everything that makes me twitch over those hours of gameplay of which a lot in singleplayer. 1. REPAIR BAY - from day 1 of playing, you spend ages creating, filling and then attacking....when you take damage even if small amounts....just write it off and BP another, the reapair bay replaces 'damaged blocks' but what about half the ones i cant see internally? TRUE repair feature...ie 100% fixed 2. Colouring/Texturing = maybe 1000 hours are spent doing that haha 3. Motorbike, i do love the idea of motorbike travel and flying over mountains like a hero....but in reality it maneuvers like a shed, its pretty painful watching. Also it is slow and has no power, watching it die uphill makes me feel such pity for it....like it has feelings. 4. The survival constructor, i don't know but im sick of how it looks, i mean what is it....a smaller shed? 5. Groups, I want to select multiple items, transfer etc....the whole process in the command window is inefficient 6. Hand drilling, we used to have faster hand, then we didnt. i want it back...but a lil faster still 7. Core locator in creative, i spend so much time looking for the core for workshop items, can we have light a shiny feature when i can just see where it is 8. Loads more NPC creatures, So lonely out there Hope the list helps
Didn't ya know? This got addressed awhile ago so ya can now Ctrl + Click up Queue Stacks of 100 at a time.
For me there is a few things, collecting the warp crystals, we tend to not travel much because it requires so many of them per warp and multiple warps to get somewhere and back. Hovers flipping and getting stuck when mining is a huge one for me but more of a bug, mining isn't that bad as long as the hover stops flipping and getting stuck on points created by the mining etc. Turning the ore into Ignots seems to take a bit too long too, between that and finding enough fiber are the biggest bottlenecks i tend to run into.
Oh managing things in the P menu, having to turn on and off thrusters for energy savings etc, and not being able to hot bar or do things quicker is a huge pain
Turning everything on and off from the control panel. A programmable on / off button would be a godsend. Place a console put it in a group interact with the console and everything in that structure group goes on / off. It would be much easier to turn off RCS / Thruster or specific light sets when not needed. Setting fire groups for individual turrets. If your ship has 11 turrets and you want to tell it not to fire on a specific target / location that requires 11 actions. Why not have actions set to a group? Cheers,
I'll go with restocking things. Restocking things is probably the most annoying task I have to do, though it refers to a couple of different devices. The game really has outgrown it's rather simplistic inventory system. There is no redeeming gameplay value in having to walk back and forth between several individual machines (including the free-standing generators) for crafting tasks and then having to open individual inventories to put stuff in. Plus some of the crafting steps seem unnecessary tedious. Why do I need to craft water into purified water if that is the only thing made from water? Crafting Ingots from raw ore is at least immersive, but puryfying water that has already been processed by a specific machine?
Who said the Water on planets was purified? Water Generator gathers water. You'd need a Purifier for that.
Taking ships/ bases apart. Long process and takes hours, if we could have a wide angle t3 repair tool? Shoots a coned beam 3x3 blocks? Would make repairing/ dismantling/ upgrading that much easier. Also the repair should be faster, the remove does 1,000 damage while the repair is about 100 per shot. Soooooo long Also I know its only supposed to be one but heres another gem. Can deposits never go less than 1% It would stop people from placing autominers then mining out the whole deposit to hide their miners. If there were deposits left I would be basing up on planet more
More for roleplaying reasons. We used to put stuff like that in our restaurant fridge. I had a few of each item in the game in the fridges
