I do not know where is the error somewhere and I do not understand what the message says. The whole scenario does not work anymore. message : C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Empyrion - Galactic Survival\Logs\1743 Windows 10 (10.0.0) 64bit Version: Alpha 8.1.1 1743, RAM: 8 GB ---- Initialize engine version: 2017.1.2f1 (cc85bf6a8a04) Version: Direct3D 11.0 [level 11.1] NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object at Assembly-CSharp.DriveFactory.CheckComponent () at Assembly-CSharp.DriveFactory.CloneStream (Assembly-CSharp.TreeNodeSettings ) at Assembly-CSharp.Stream.InsertPlugin () at Assembly-CSharp.DriveFactory.InsertPlugin () at Assembly-CSharp.DirectoryLoader.SaveFunction (Single , Int32 ) at Assembly-CSharp.TextFileType.PublishComponent () at Assembly-CSharp.TextFileType.EnableSymbol () at MBS.Update ()
Sorry, I panicked when scenario does not work at all, and I can not find where there is a error, Sectors or playfeild. Where is the log for the whole scenario?
From what I can tell, the planet was fully generated, and you managed to swap from one playfield to another, yes? I'm not sure why there's so many 11-17:21:32.786 19_21 -LOG- Game generated package, ID: Event_Faction_Changed, Type: Event_Faction_Changed events.. The exception seems to happen right after a weather change? 11-17:23:16.791 19_23 -LOG- Weather: CloudsLight Not sure, but it could be related? I'm sorry, but I don't have much of a guess.. Did you do something in particular before it happened? Or was I wrong in my assumption, that you were loaded in?
Thank you for your answer. I had teleported with console to more planets. I had tested Default Random game and to my surprise it was the same error so it's not just my scenario that does not work. but I'm not sure if there is a bug in empyrion or my computer. But I'm glad that there's nothing wrong with my scenario.
I got a lot of those errors when making my scenario. I usually fixed it by undoing whatever recent changes I had made or even removing the last planet I worked on from the scenario. My goal was to usually narrow down the problem to the specific playfield_dynamic.yaml or playfield_static.yaml file, then I could go from there. Does the error happen in the SSG or when you try to load the scenario from within the game? Are you using the random solar system generator to create your scenario?
Thank you, all advice is valuable to me. I have undoing recent changes as well. But the mistake is in common games, not just in the scenario. I've got it later . I used the random solar system generator to create scenario at the beginning then I had added to the scenario Orbit and planets.
Looks like a sector file error to me. Didnt add any spaces by accident ? Everything lines up down side, syntax.?
