The problem is, that's the only possibility to run with a gamepad. Running with a gamepad is without that not possible. It's a game breaking bug for gamepad user.
I can run with the keyboard shortcut for Run but not the Toggle run. Try to set the controls for run twice for game-pad.
If i toogle the Lshift button to the left stick is it buggy if I try to run and jump same time. The character try to crouch and jump after it. If I do that in a battle is that my death. And if I press everytime my left stick for running and push it forwarding same time, than is my gamepad stick in a few weeks trash.
