Before doing that I stopped by Pirate Staion 'La Grande Maraida' , parked my small vessel there, packed looted materials and went to the Obelisk by foot/bike and returned to my homebase on Planet Akua to store looted materials, lick my wounds, stock up ammunion, bandages etc. Then I got back to the Obelisk and returned to Planet Skillon. Now as soon as I get near 'La Grande Maraida' (at a distance of 178m) the game crashes every time. Have savegames where I'm at a distance of 200m. After a crash, I can load a savegame, create a new one, then go to La Grande Maraida and the game crashes again.

Ok thanks for the save I can see this is fixed in our upcoming release "v1.11.8" which is available on our Experimental branch which is open to the public if you would like to check the build out yourself also. As a precautionary measure keep a backup copy of your main save that you wish to continue using.
Killed LAOCAT in the meanwhile & tried to return to Maira to complete the mission (made a save before) -> crash. Loaded Savegame in the near of Maira, made a save, let myself beeing killed, chose respawn to next healing station, spawned in Maira and game instantly crashes again (but made an auto-Save). Loaded autosave -> I die, chose to spawn at next healing station and I spawn to Maira, this time without crashing. Completed mission, got back my ship and my backpack and saved. I will see if I ever can approach Maira ever again, but if not, it's not a big deal since now I got all my things back and all quests are accomplished.
