Multiplayer Robinson?

    Sorry if this is the wrong place for this but my friends and I just started up our own little private dedicated server, all in the same faction, with 'Multiplayer Default' scenario and I have a question. In the PDA, there is a quest listed as The Robinson Protocol (Co-Op) and we have set it and roamed around, found wreckage on the planet but can't seem to clear the very first objective, "find the signal" anywhere. Does this even work in multiplayer default? If not why is it listed in the PDA? The patch notes even said the co-op version was added for small groups. What gives?

    Which scenario did you start? The protocol only works in default random scenario, not in akua-omicron or others.

    Custom Scenario: Default Multiplayer

    Is default multiplayer not "default random"?
    Either way, the mission is there in the PDA under team and Roinson Protocall (co-op). Is it not meant to be there?
    We just assumed it was the tutorial, and since we played back in 4-something or 5-something, we just skipped it anyway and went on.

    If you have a line in your dedicated.yaml saying
    CustomScenario: Default Akua-Omicron # Enable custom scenario. Name of custom scenario from folder Content\Scenarios

    Or anything else to the right, you should remove the line entirely, given you want to use the PDA storyline.
    I've just tested it with a freshly generated world, without any customscenario, and the first PDA mission (Crashsite) works fine

    I've run through all the missions.
    No bugs.
    Just keep in mind, that you can only do these missions once per regeneration of the planet tho. (in the current iteration anyway)

    The exact line in the dedicated.yaml reads

    CustomScenario: 'Default Multiplayer'

    If I removed this line would it do anything adverse to the current server? Force everyone to loose everything and restart for example? Wipe the planet?

    i started a multiplayer with"Default Multiplayer" did not know the missions were not enabled with this,

    If i change it to one of the other Scenarios, will it break my server???
    If i can which ones DO have the Missions Enabled???

    As I'm still kind of new here, I wondered about this also. I'm running a dedicated, for me and my friends to learn the game, set to Default Multiplayer. Everything I've read, said Robinson Tutorial is NOT playable in Multiplayer.

    I wish we can get a definitive word, and EXACT instructions to enable this in a MP server, IF it's even possible.

    Random multiplayer and Akua-Omicron don't have the Robinson tutorial in the contemporary PDA.

    If you have for some reason an old PDA file the POI to go to might be referred to as GroupName JunkT2 instead of Wreckage, which causes problems as the engine cannot find it in newer playfield version of starter templates.

    I started a SP game with the scenario, and copied out the PDA files from it.
    Then started a MP game, and dropped the PDA files into the save.

    Has worked like a charm. I have 4 starter planets with the tutorial, and 2 with the wrecked base.

    Which files, more precisely are those? I mean, how do I identify them?

    Just removing "CustomScenario: 'Default Multiplayer'" from the Dedicated.Yaml didn't work...

    Change the scenario to Default Random and then start a new save game.
