    Found a bug with OPVs (zyrax patrol vessels to be precise) in alpha 12 on the test server. When immobilized, the ship will glitch out, approaching it and trying to get inside is impossible as it seems the blocks aren't rendering properly and you're faced with invisible walls (Sometimes firing at the blocks makes them targetable, otherwise it would show "container" instead of combat steel block for example). This happened 3 out of 4 times so far and with another player aswell.
    -When targetting blocks with a multitool it shows "Container 50/50), sometimes a different angle shows the block
    -Destroying the core and placing your own core does not fix it either
    -Relogging teleports if "you were inside" around 200 m away.
    -After a relog, you can go through the ship as if it you're in godmode until you fire at a block
    -You can go through the structure with another structure like cv/sv

    It seems As if the ship's actual position is shifted, as i noticed the commander spawns are dropping in an awkward position.

    We are aware of the issue with being able to clip through these AI vessels. Currently no ETA for a fix for this.

    Hello,

    a big question and would really like an answer, whats the point of going after a CV in space if i risk my vessel to disable the npc one but i can't enter to loot it.

    I just fought my first zirax CV and after a time when i managed to destroy its weapons and generators im not able to go inside and loot/salvage it as im stoped by some invisible wall.

    This is BS and infuriating. I saw thru holes that it has alien containers and lots of stuff i would like to salvage and cargo to loot but i can't .. so whats the point?

    Please report this as a bug in the bug report forum so the devs can take a look at it. Make sure to follow the directions supplied.

    Hello, recently i posted a thread about the invisible wall not letting you enter the enemy vessel and was moved to known issues but i figured out a possible cause which may help fixing the issue.

    If the devs know about this already well close this topic.
    Sorry i didn't follow the report template but since it's a known issue i don't think it's necessary.

    After i managed to destroy the vessel's core and place my own i still was blocked by the invisible wall, BUT ...
    after i salvaged ALL the thrusters i was able to enter the vessel and carry out my looting/salvaging.

    And one more bug i noticed is that sometimes it activates some kind of semi-god mode where i can go thru the vessels walls (this helped me destroy the core on the vessels). This happens sometimes and not sure what triggers it.

    But back to the invisible wall, if salvaging/destroying all the thrusters destroys the invisible wall thats worth looking into, but i can't figure out a reason while the thrusters would create that wall and why it disappears after salvaging/destroying the thrusters.

    The invisible wall happened to me on 3/3 vessels i fighted since i posted that thread, so it happens on all the vessels and its not a random thing( at least for me it happened every time) but in each case after the thrusters are gone so it's the invisible wall so i could say that the thrusters somehow create that invisible wall for sure.

    Patrol Vessels in space are entities with weird entity-based collisions until they're rendered completely incapable of moving.
    That means you need to take out all the generators, the core or all the thrusters in order for it to be unable to move.
    If it has one functioning thruster, it's capable of movement and therefore still an active entity.

    Not sure if the same issue but I had something similar happen with freighters in A10 on dedicated multiplayer. Relogging after disabling the ship fixed it.

    Well ... the point is ... i understand what you mean, but i targeted the generators and on one of the vessels i attacked i destroyed the core too while destroying the generators and the vessel was completely stopped so it didnt have a core so how do you explain the wall then ? and what about after i placed my own core that should mean that the vessel was completely taken over by me so why it's still considered that weird entity you talk about.

    Additional notes for reproduction

    - likely-hood of happening 1 in 7
    - Ship still has to have thrusters.
    - It cannot be powered.
    - it has to have taken some battle damage.

    While landing on carriers or fighting in combat my ships keep clipping into those objects and getting stuck.

    The work around (kind of) is to shut the breaks off and try to work your way out of the object. It's very tedious and time consuming, if you don't do it you will otherwise lose your ship.
