For more information see here Bug Report Template Build: 1.77.3718 Mode: Survival Mode: Single Player Reproducibility: Global Type: Logistics/Fuel, Repair Summary: Deciding to go to sleep for 8 hours while Repair Bay active will wipe all fuel in the base, although fuel is more than sufficient. Description: My repair bay T2 was initiating correctly to repair a SV to template, 6 minutes were left to the end of the repair, and my base fuel was 100% which I deem more than enough to carry out the operation to its end, the control menu shows power usage at 74% capacity. I guess by simply waiting this would have consumed maximum 10-15% of the fuel, probably even much less. Instead of waiting I decide to go to sleep for 8 hours after which all fuel was wiped, zero fuel left in the base tanks. I don't think there is any valid gameplay reason for this consumption, no other instances like constructors or anything else were active during the sleep except 2 fridges and a serie of growing lights which is neglectable; no ventilators because no oxygen needed in my case, it takes me usually *several days* of active gaming to get the tanks to zero with these 3 instances active and consuming energy. The base in question is a stock base, Farpoint Outpost upgraded correctly to T3 with a repair bay. Steps to Reproduce: Repair to template a SV with about 5-10 minutes left for repair, make sure your fuel tanks are 100% full with the necessary powerful generators installed to support the repair; start the repair, see the green repair area showing that the repair takes place but instead of waiting 5-10 minutes go to sleep. All fuel of the base should get wiped like in my description.
To make the proof of a bug, next time I do a similar repair I will need to wait for the repair to finish to exactly know how much fuel is consumed; if the tanks also get wiped then clearly this would not be a bug. FYI, my modified stock base is equiped with 4 Fuel Tanks T1 yielding a fuel capacity of 4x 1200 = 4800.
Hey @Taelyn, @Pantera, Finally a way to test this ancient Power Consumption Bug It works every time.....
Here's one Station has power for 143h and 34 min Switching the lever on will start the repair and it should take 10 min and 15 sec With the repair pad ON, the station still has power for 1h and 19 min, enough for the 10 mins repair After sleeping the power was drained in full
Yes I can, and I have even prepared the work for you where I can exactly reproduce the bug, but it's too bad that it says 'file is too large', it's a zip of the save with 13.850 kb size (compressed).
I now have removed useless playfields and shared entries to reduce file size in order to upload it. I've prepared the work for you by filling the repair bay with the necessary materials after removing 5 of 6 turrets from the ship and also removing some front blocks which was the situation which I played. By starting the repair you will have 5 minutes left to the end of repair. After repair to template is started, move up the elevator and go to sleep for 8 hours, you will see: all fuel of the base will be wiped.
Waiting the 5 minutes for the end of repair without going to sleep will change the fuel tanks from 98% to 69% (29% consumption). Going to sleep will put the tanks to zero.
