Reproducibility: Create a Co-Op.
Severity: Game crashing. Max Severity. Unable to play on Co-Op. (10/10)

Type: Co-Op failure to create. Log in failure from single player to Co-Op. Crashes to main lobby on Windowed screen. Error Message saying something it cannot load then crashes to main lobby.

Summary: Creating a Co-Op world does not create. It acts like it is going through the screen gets taking off full screen goes to window then crashes to main lobby. Loading a single player to co-op gives a error message then it crashes to main lobby. I'm unable to play with friends till this bug is fixed. I gifted the game to my friend to play together to find out we cannot play cause it keeps crashing to main lobby. Single play is fine but when trying to launch in Co-op that is when it crashes.

Been wanting to play with my friend for some time but when we actually try to play the Co-Op is malfunctioning it isn't working at all. Keeps crashing both of us to main lobby when we try to launch a new save in Co-op. Or fails to boot up a single player save to Co-op with a error message.

Please keep in touch would like to see Co-Op repaired. Co-Op is in need of repairs.

Uninstall and reinstall did not fix the problem. Verifying file integrity did not solve the problem. Nothing on my end I know how to do.

Have no choice but to shelf the game temporary till some of these crippling bugs in DLC and Vanilla is fixed.

 

No file can be added. It just fails to launch in Co-op as it keeps kicking me. Just creating a co-op game and waiting for it to launch on any mode it just crashes to main lobby in windowed mode. There are no logs to give.

There isn't any logs to give. Except a screen shot of a error message. But Co-op is broken cause it keeps crashing to the main lobby in windowed mode. I play on fullscreen it takes me out of fullscreen and puts it on windowed mode and then crashes to main lobby of single player, Co-op, Multiplayer, Options and Exit.

Edit- No longer getting error message however co-op loading failure is still happening. Even right now I keep getting booted to main lobby hoping to picture the error message but it isn't popping up anymore. Its just booting to main lobby in launch failure. I made a couple new co-op scenarios to test and even loading in a single player save on co-op mode. Every time it just boots me back to main lobby like I just booted up Empyrion.

Everything works fine in Single player mode its just Co-Op is failing to launch.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I tried Verifying file integrity and all that stuff nothing is working. Even rebooting my computer. Co-op is just broken. It just won't run using co-op mode new or old saves. It fails to launch and boots me back to main lobby with single player, co-op, multiplayer, options and exit are on windowed screen mode. It pulls me out of fullscreen.

Which video record program I can use to record a video and send it over?

I'm a little frustrated cause I wanted to play with my friend and can't get Co-op to work cause of this issue of constant booting to main lobby. I'm hoping I can send in a video recording on what is happening. But don't know how to do it.

Steps to Reproduce:
1) Create Co-Op save fresh or Load in a existing single player to Co-op.
2) Wait for it to load.
3) Crashes to main lobby.

I can't get video recording to stay recording as it shuts off the recording automatically after it crashes. I hope the logs say something. But still cannot get Co-Op to work. Single player works fine still however. Not sure how AV prevents Co-op from booting up when single player plays just fine. I'm not getting pop ups from AV that it is seeing the game as malware. I have my Anti Virus that it tells me and asks me to perform a action of allow or block not just straight out crash. I'm not getting anything from AV.

 

I never like the setup for Co-op anyway even when the game was fairly young and new. It has always been a fight to get co-op to work well beyond this current crashing problem. I think it just needs to be rebuilt cause I don't get why it has to load it in on a separate server rather then just letting friends just join in on the save. As it opens a separate gray server screen in order play co-op. I just think friends should just be able to join in. I never liked how it needs to open a separate server in the background to play on co-op mode.

I think i'll just wait till development is put into easier access for co-op play. I'm sorry I don't mean to sound mean or rude i'm just very frustrated I don't like how the current co-op works its too much of a fight to get it to work.
