It would be super helpful to allow key bindings for signals and shortcuts to reduce having to use the control panel while flying. Even adding the ability to access turrets from the cockpit with key bindings would be awesome too.

Wish we could rebind those keys however. The default heykeys are awkward to hit and impossible for me to remember at least.
With how our system works there no possibilities atm to make it keybinds. Reworking this system is something we discuss
Both CTRL and SHIFT are hardcoded. This is not a easy fix / change We have to rework the whole keybind system for this, as I said above its a discussion currently if we will do so. If we deside to rework it, they will be rebindable aswell
