There is a bug in the behavior when pressing the key assigned to Auto Brake. (Both SV and CV)

This feature OFF, described below, maintains the thrust of the previous ON state.

When you press the key assigned this feature in 10.4
    ON → OFF → ON ・ ・ ・
In this way, the two states were switched.

However, when you press the key assigned this feature in 10.5
    ON → OFF → No thrust → ON ・ ・ ・
In this way, the three states are switched.

It can be reproduced in the new creative mode.
So please prepare the test environment yourself.

There is 3 modes currently available in 10.5:
    "Free fall" mode - Off
    "Maintain altitude" mode - Off
    "Auto break" mode - On

I'll check if it is intentional that they are in this release.

They need the display for them changed from just "Off" and "On" to include their actual modes: "Off", "On" and "Hover".

This will be disabled in the one of the next updates & re-enabled when the system is more finished.

I operate as follows when moving in non-combat.

    1. Adjust altitude, direction and speed with Auto Brake ON
    2. Turn it off and fly straight, adding thrust to the decreasing speed.
Then go back to 1. in the next direction.

When operating as described above, this “Free Fall” mode will definitely add one extra operation to each direction change operation.

Please stop making such changes with shallow thoughts.
I want the Dev Team to recognize that this is a serious change that will make operability worse for some people.

I oppose adding this feature to Auto Brake and want to assign it to another key.

The new flight system isn't ready yet which this is apart of maybe wait until that is added in a future release to really test this out.

I would like the Dev Team to explain the new system in advance and ask the player's opinion without restricting this information.

I was about to submit a bug report until I realized it was probably an auto-brake issue.
Still, the auto-brake seems to work as expected until I return from space, then I cannot get lift from any of my engines. I'm having some pilot error in re-gaining the ability to ascend. I can only gain altitude by flying forward at an incline. If I stop supplying acceleration I fall out of the sky. Can't seem to toggle out of that.

In the next release experimental release the system will be:
    "Maintain altitude" mode - Off
    "Auto break" mode - On

retest wen it is out & see how it is for you.
