Hi, Your log doesn't show any errors but it does show you are running EPD can you try disabling this to check if this is interfering & causing the issue for you ? from your log "{EPDMod} EPD MOD initializing..." What parameters in particular did you setup ? Because when I do this the game starts fine.
EPD is this https://empyriononline.com/threads/...r-v2-13-1-exp-empyrion-v1-7-compatible.37581/ I guess you installed it at some point ? as this doesn't come with the game. First make sure the game isn't running then try this go here: F:\SteamLibrary3\steamapps\common\Empyrion - Galactic Survival\Content\Mods\EPD Open the file "EPDMod_Info" in notepad & change where it says ModTargets: Client to ModTargets: none then save the file & try again. If that doesn't work please attach a compressed copy of the 3639 log folder so we can look at all of the logs from 3639. ==== Have you also tried the steam verify files option ? Right click on Empyrion in your steam library & select properties. Click on the local files tab & choose the 'Verify integrity of local game files' option. Let the steam client run it's check & if there is any files to download it will do so automatically
Please go to here: F:\SteamLibrary3\steamapps\common\Empyrion - Galactic Survival\Content then delete the "Configuration" folder (if you have done any custom editing of the configs you may want to back them up & move them somewhere else away form the game folders instead of just deleting) then run the steam verify files option to get the latest version of all config files Right click on Empyrion in your steam library & select properties. Click on the local files tab & choose the 'Verify integrity of local game files' option. Let the steam client run it's check & if there is any files to download it will do so automatically
I Deleted the config folder and verified. it's working now! I am a bit worried though because I wanted to try re forged and some other mods. But I don't want to risk breaking the game again =-(. Thank you so much for all of your help!
Glad to hear it's working for you now. You can subscribe to the reforged eden content on the steam workshop & the files are in a different folder (the workshop folder is away from the main game folder) that shouldn't interfere with the main game.
