There might be. The reason I haven't updated this mod is because I am in the process of redoing this mod completely. I'm hoping to add some more options and more notifications. I hope to have a new version within the coming week or two.

Did you manage to do this? I've got my own COOP server but I can't locate a "Mods Folder" either. Where should I install this? (Really keen to use this Mod)
This is the thing I don't have a folder anywhere on my PC starting with \Empyrion - Dedicated Server. All I have is: Steamapps\common\Empyrion - Galactic Survival
Quick update, the new release will be coming out within the coming days. Just finalizing some testing. Some information that I can say right now: I am ending Death Messenger development. The reason I am ending Death Messenger is, it's no longer the sufficient. I've done the most I can do with death messages. I will continue to maintain it in the samples, but I won't be adding any new features. With that out of the way, I am launching Empyrion Notices. This will include the functionality of Death Messenger, plus more. New features include, Join/Leave notices, Admin login notification and user configurable settings. Like Death Messenger, this mod is inprocess. This makes it game hosting environment compatible.
