Thanks dude theres been some sort of error with it uploading, and when I try to update scenario now it says its been added to workshop by another player so Im getting all sorts of errors atm trying to update it. Edit. I changed the name of the main scenario folder to SINGLE PLAYER Lost City of Sol-Exploration so its effectively an entirely new scenario as far as steam is concerned but it still wont upload, just throws an internal error and never uploads. Ive asked devs on Skype whats going on have to wait for a reply. Don't update your scenario yet. Still having no luck uploading it.
Does the scenario in the content folder have the workshop id number in the file name ? SteamLibrary\steamapps\Common\Empyrion - Galactic Survival\Content\Scenarios For me the id number is: 947184777 here: SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\383120\947184777 So I imagine it should look like: The Lost City Of Sol-Exploration_947184777 I don't think that's the MP version as I only subscribed to the SP version as far as I can remember. The SP file has a dedicated.yaml in it maybe that's stopping it ? just a guess
Not sure I completely renamed the scenario folder but it still wont upload, Hummel has it now just uploaded to dropbox for him to take a look so with luck will be sorted shortly.
Some weird issues here. I had subscribed to the SP scenario yesterday afternoon, started a game last night, ran into some drone problems(Large Plasma drone blew up my starter HV while I was visiting the TS), managed to down two drones and rebuild the HV and logged off for the night. Upon starting today Steam informs me the save game needs to be deleted. I attempted to start a new game and did not have the choice of the scenario, and it's not available in the workshop. Going to wait until you get the update issues fixed and resubscribe, just glad I wasn't far in the game yet. Looking forward to the update, impressed with what I saw so far. Thanks for your hard work.
Sorry dude Steam seems to have brainfarted while it was updating, the devs have it now and Im waiting to see what they find, but Im looking at a complete re-naming of it and maybe try it that way, which causes other problems because anyone with a game save they want to keep, just got more complicated. Anyway Im hoping it will be sorted during today sometime and will post in here as soon as it is.
Yes it will, I tried a workaround that Hummel informed of this morning, but Im not quite getting it yet so when Hummel comes back online today, as he is in Germany and Im in Australia, I will ask him to clarify it for me and with luck it should be back within a day.
Yea sorry about that, been a hectic week with updates and the devs are flat out doing some special stuff I cant talk about too, so hoping it will be soon Hummel pops back up online. EDIT. Made some progress and got the scenario to be recognised by steam again but Im having an issue updating now as its saying the scenario has been uploaded by another player, so Im effectively still waiting for Germany to come into daylight !
Ok guys we have got it sorted. It should be beck on Steam Workshop now under a new name, had to rename whole scenario for steam to stop its brainfarts. The scenario is the same scenario but is now named ''Exploration for Sols Lost City'' Has the same intro pic. I think you need to start a new game unless your capable of manually editing the save files to suit, but nothing at all has changed inside the scenario, just the name f the scenario is different so Steam sees it as a whole new scenario. I think it means your update button for the originalaly named scenario will not update. I think you need to start fresh with this version because its name changed.
I really like the orbital start, it's very different from the old ground pounder approach. Thanks for getting it back online.

Nice preview. LOL. Nothing but ads. But, enjoying the hell out of this even if I did die repeatedly my first try and most unfortunately the second time. Just sayin, Venus wasn't as "easy" as you made it out to be for this noob. Scared to think about what you consider hard! Love, love loved the timed multi-gate areas. Now to get off of Venus once it gets a bit safer to leave my home there! Kudos!
WTF Photobucket ?! OMG some new policy they have has blocked every picture ever posted ! Still trying to correct it cos the jerks have made it freeking hard to fix. This is what you get when they advertise free picture hosting for ever only to be ad spammed for 3 bucks a month for ever to rid the ads and from what I read its a waste on money anyway. Need a new free picture host ! Yea some of the planets are hard for the description, but really the descriptions are all a bit useless as the extra animals actually makes them all much harder and this was done because a lot of the planets were lonely and boring with little animal activity and what Ive tried to do is make it so that night time on any planet is deadly, the result though is there all a lot harder so sorry about that lol !
I noticed on Venus to Trade Center floats in the air and you have to jump up to it to reach it it's kind of hard to reach and it takes a long time to finally find a place you can jump to. I also noticed the NPCs are very stiff looking when they want you might want to redo the mocap for the animation of the NPCs.
Yea I have had a lot of the POIs in creative adjusting there height settings for 7.0 release , there set to 0 flat on ground but theres a bug there and they all need to be reset at -2 or -3 to correct it, something to do with how the terrain gets cut out. For 7.0 most of them should be corrected, but there are well over hundred custom POIs in this scenario now so if I miss a few, I will track em down after that. Yea I give up on photocrapit they want 400 bucks just to share pictures the jokers, thieves. So I guess it 1 pic at a time ! I give you some truly Alien worlds !
