I just tried again and it's still working in my current game after a machine reboot, can somebody try a repo? If it's save game related I can bundle one up. It feels like visiting a chunk of code without running the setup for using it.
I can't try a repro case right now, maybe tonight. For now verify files through Steam, remove any custom config files if using any, and start a new game to see if it's reproducible. If so then it's most likely reproducible for everyone else as well. I also always try to reproduce in survival and creative and also MP if I have time. Edit I had a few minutes for a repro case after all. It's 100% reproducible for me as well. I went into game and threw a base starter block down with a cannon turret sitting on top of it. Stand next to turret and press F to enter the turret. Now press F5 to enter drone. Unlimited range drone every single time. I tested real quick in creative and survival. No time right now to check MP, but odds are that if it happens in SP it also happens in MP. I made it 2 kilometers from the base with my drone before I stopped trying any more. This thing will go completely around the planet if I wanted.
