Mode: Survival Mode: Singleplayer Reproducible: Always Severity: Minor Type:Global Summary: Food Spoils in Output Fridge Description: after crafting some food it starts to spoil. Not only the fresh crafted product but all in the fridge. I am told it only affects the Output fridge but if a single fridge is used for I-O, everything is rotting. Save and Reload dose stop the process, but after crafting something new it starts again. Steps to Reproduce: Craft some food and watch it rot.
I have experienced the same thing except both the input and output fridges are spoiling. This is on an HV. I am in a single player survival game.
Can you attach the save game where this has happened & continues to happen for you with your character left standing infront of the food processor (I presume this is what you are using) you are using ? Go to: SteamLibrary\steamapps\Common\Empyrion - Galactic Survival\Saves\Games Right click on the save file & place your mouse cursor over 'Send to' create a compressed copy of it then drag & drop a copy in your reply box or use the upload a file option. If the file is too large use a file hosting site like mediafire, dropbox or google drive then add a share link to it. Thanks.
There is already a thread here concerning MP https://empyriononline.com/threads/loss-of-base-power-after-being-away-returning.47201/ Can you explain exactly how it happens in MP ? unless this is exactly the same as what the OP reported ? Thanks
Please attach the save game where it is reproducing with you character left standing close by or insdie the HV you mention. Happening to me too today (was thinking of reporting but got intimidated by the requirements). Food was spoiling even as I was recording spoil time. Saved game, exited, restarted did not solve (unless it restarted because I started making new food). You don't have to be standing in front of it with the "door open" (as it were) for spoiling to occur (was building my CV about 20m away and when I went to chew on something I'd notice new spoiled stacks where there were none previously). Solar base (15 large panels), 2 fridges (input and output) both spoil. Two full capacitors never get below 90% no power issues with any device. Single fridge in HV seemed to operate fine but only tested it once on a short-ish mission. Also happened 2 or 3 days ago (real time) at my first base which I hadn't visited for awhile and I was greeted by two fridges full of spoiled food. Thought maybe a run of bad weather ran my capacitor dry while I was away but I find that unlikely.
Are you able to provide a save game where anything from what you describe will reproduce on demand & the steps to reproduce once loaded into the save game ? Steps: 1) 2) 3) etc... Go to: SteamLibrary\steamapps\Common\Empyrion - Galactic Survival\Saves\Games Right click on the save file & place your mouse cursor over 'Send to' create a compressed copy of it then drag & drop a copy in your reply box or use the upload a file option. Hello, I just experienced this issue again while out mining with my HV. The HV was on the whole time. I was periodically checking my fridges and I had Grilled Steak sitting at 18 perish time, Energy Bars sitting at 120 perish time, and Berry and Fruit juice at 28 and 43 perish time respectively. These numbers were not changing anytime I looked. However, one time I looked and the grilled steaks had spoiled and the other three items had all dropped by 22 perish time points. It had only been a few minutes since the last time I looked at them so it just happened all at once really fast. I am on 9.4.0 Build 2275. New game was started with 9.4 Attached is my save game right after I noticed the spoilage.
The fix for this issue is now on the experimental branch https://empyriononline.com/threads/alpha-experimental-9-4-0-hotfix.47675/
Yes, everything was made with the mobile constructor. Both the input and output fridges got hit by the spoilage.
Ok thanks can you check the newest build that is currently on the experiential branch ? this issue should be ok there now. This will go live shortly.
I'm having the same problem on my dedicated server. Food is continuously spoiling in all of my refrigerators, as if they're not even in a fridge. Haven't checked any of my single players. As of this post, it's still a problem.
I did two hours tonight and did not get any spoilage so my issue appears to be fixed with the experimental build.
