Rare loot containers at POI's not working correctly. When you open them they show your ships inventory or some other devices inventory. Normal loot containers and storage controllers at POI's show either my ship's inventory I last accessed or some other storage container in the facility and no loot in the container. Only way to get the loot is to find the core and destroy it if it is even allowed for that POI. Then have to destroy the loot container and wait for the item drop container to show up so can loot it.

That's cool because it was rather useless before, now the chainsaw makes full sense.
New textures for the shadows is all off. Shadows where the light is hitting directly and also messing with the color scheme because of it. Tried changing them and tried off doesn't change it. Giant wedge shadow that follows me on the ground. Too much haze with spotlight/flashlight obscures everything in view rather than illuminating. Colors on the ships are all wrong now, even newly built. Paint gun shows blank for all the textures.

Looks like oxygen is removed from all areas around windows. See that the O2 in the bottom left is greyed out even though there are O2 blue diamonds all around me. When I step back a full block away from the window, I am fine (i.e. 1 block away from the window)
Had exact same issue - for me it was fixed after I verified the local files in Steam (had to reacquire like 44 files I think).
Was really enjoying myself for the last 200 hours then this weird lighting bug has completely ruined the game for me If there is no fog why in gods name would you make it so we can't see anything anymore.. Lights on sv,cv and armour is completely useless now so you can only go out in the day time now AND even then if you use your lights you get fog during the day like What the ?? Way to nerf the game. off to find something else I guess.
Creative mode seems to be in a state of decay. The heavy window color/texture issue seems fixed but now the color textures of lights and spotlights are broken. Also having trouble now with the display of preview images of certain parts (heavy windows for instance) in creative prior to placement.
The bump map global factor was perhaps set way too high? When using the parallax Occlusion Mapping set to high, the quality of textures actually degrades, rather than increasing the aesthetic value.. Additionally most textures seem to have aquired a glossy film. Some textures you wouldn't expect to have a glossy sheen, such as rough metallics, look to be laminated. As well, the glow value of emissive light textures is almost negligible now. Cheers.
Lol, I tried the new scenario. All was going well as I got the ship in a liveable state before venturing forth. I'd patched a few holes, disassembled non-critical components for resources and gained a decent stock. Then, suddenly, the ship is taking fire, the Generator taken out in the first volley. Looking around I see several Drones shooting Plasma at me and a Zirax Capital Vessel...think I'm screwed lol. Gonna load up with stuff and bail...hopefully I can get to the planet in time... and not go splat...station too far away to get to without freezing... ... Heh, I landed on the planet, seemingly touching down softly. Stood there for a second or two and was thrown into the 3rd person view and died. I think I will start this scenario over. Btw: why is there no reload option from the Respawn screen? Do I really have to exit the game and relaunch in order to load a save? That's silly. Edit: Game mentions salvaging stuff to make a basic vessel to get to the Station or Planet. However, there's simply not enough salvageable material on the ship. While maintaining a liveable environment with working constructor, fridge, food processor etc. I've gathered a grand total of NINE carbon substrate. That's not enough for the require Nanotubes...well, I might be able to bodge it with a single-thrustered "escape pod" type SV built from scratch, but the game suggests I use the Factory (exploit exploit! lol) to have it build a prefab SV. NONE of the basic prefab SV's can be built - not enough materials by far - and relying on the player to have already created a super basic SV just for this scenario... well, that's not ideal.
