Please, create confirm dialog to loot NPC faction container when your standing is neutral or higher. It's very easy to accidentally open something and lose all your RP :/ Or maybe decrease it only when I actually take anything. Also, it would be nice to have a option like "do not damage NPC faction XYZ" - meaning your guns wouldn't hurt them nor destroy their blocks. I accidentally shot Talon while killing spiders and then it took me long time to regain that RP. It's really annoying currently.
Maybe consider that drones (and hubs) were Alien faction, so can shoot them without loosing rep with Zirax. Or can take them down if outside their territory (too far for communication to report of "violation"). Or another type of drones, where Zirax's stays within territory. Makes little sense with base attacks from them if not hostile standing. And even then it could become difficult to reach unfriendly (and attacks stops).
I feel like the Zirax should be hostile by default. Lore wise, they are the bad guys of the game so I don't think they should start off as neutral.

Sorry if this been asked already but, when friendly with zirax, does this stop the drone attacks? I notice since i became friends with them I no longer seem to get drone attacks, or did the base just run out XD
haha nice, makes sense of course the drones being zirax. I am playing on HWS, my first base on paragon was wiped out by drone attacks when they sent bomber drones XD My new base is defended with plasmas and a secondary plasma turret base nearby, no problems here, but now that I am friendly with zirax because I killed many polaris troops to get levels, I may as well turn my turrets off XD
May I recommend changing the color of 'Zirax' to something else than red? As 'no-faction' have this color. And any player realistically associate red with hostile.. (as you can become friendly with them, it is too instinctive to shoot something that have a 'red healthbar')
Additionally, might I recommend differentiating between 'what was destroyed'? Aswell as if the player at all is attacking it? (block) There's a sizeable difference between attacking/destroying a wall, and a door, and a turret, and especially a core.. Additionally, is it intentional, that the player is unable to interact with doors and similar belonging to the faction, despite being friendly with them? (You can usually wait for an NPC to path through, and pass anyway) I'd think any "non-locked" doors should be interactable if not-hostile with them
As "coloring" of Faction comes up here and there... I would like to ask if ELEON can invent Color-Sliders to change the Color of the Faction? Changes within the given Normal Color from, i.e., light to dark of blue, red Green. The change should be, like the Avatar, possible to be done in Game. The Reason why I ask is: Different Planet Surfaces let the current coloring blur or make it almost unreadable.
(And it would be handy to have for custom factions down the line anyway) But I think eventually just giving the UI elements some more love, (such as a 'opposite colored backdrop' on letters) will help enough (I'm guessing the UI will get some love when they have decided on what will be involved in the end.. I *think* the current is quite WIP (NPC-related UI part, that is))
Hiya, if zirax like to send us drones when hostile, perhaps they can send fruit baskets when friendly ? ^-^
As the dominant force of a planet, I hold zirax responsible for non noticed power outages leading to my fridge spoiling when i am offline. So yeah they should send me some fruit to compensate. And I want it delivered on a troop transport where several zirax will then escort my fruit basket right up to the fridge in my base. honestly some of these petty british electricity sub contract suppliers do a better job ! Grumbles while tossing out spoiled food.
Isn't there a way to set a poi to a neutral admin faction, so that everyone can have access to the base but not be able to alter it? I have a dedicated server and created some planets only accessible by portal from a poi I created, but I can't seem to get it. I thought it you set the admin faction for Structure-Control, it would be neutral. I set the admin faction in EAH, but I think its just bugged because it still shows my admin faction as a human faction.
I'm not sure about changing a faction for a player-spawned base, but you can create a base blueprint with a "Core (Admin)" and set it to spawn as a POI in your playfield with faction "Admin" in the playfield.yaml. Then it will be indestructible and neutral.
