They are for A12 POI. And with A12, turret limits changing. (i know but my english is not enough to explain "how changing" )
Can't say that I thought it up but thank you. I do tend to have 'machines' in Lib to spawn. 2 cargo boxes, hv generator, fuel tanks, constructor and medical device are the most common for me when working an area on foot. Kind of a forward base.. However the utility of this is much reduced since encumbrance became a thing.
Maybe a blueprint which is just an armor locker might be in order. I might just put that in my arsenal.... <-I just read that aloud, and giggled a bit...
You know, everything made before A12 is not more than prototype because we don't know what will happen when update arrived TSN Settlement ;
Discovered more stuff that is broken... HV on ramp... Close ramp - Why am I not surprised? Not worth posting as bug as I've learn by now this kind of thing seems to be intended behavior. If 'Bug' means unintentionally broken, I guess we need a new term for intentionally broken. I guess they just 'BD-NGTF' for these. At least it proves some part of this 'game engine' can deal with a device whose surface moves (unlike retractable turrets). A shame - they are nice looking ramps. Like retractable turrets - great models and animations, but sadly a bit useless. TBH, these ramps are a bit impractical for vehicles - had to do this at the front to make enough room for the thing to get out... A bunch of shutter ramps to seal it off and open it out enough for the vehicle to get out - works as the main ramp provides the air seal. Workable sort of on a huge carrier I guess where you don't need the space occupied by the ramp. In other news - spent some time having another go at trying to make good use of those big drills. I have to say - I want to like them, but they seem to have so many issues. They dont dig out enough length ways, so you end up with loads of voxel spikes sticking out. I understand what they are trying to do with the weird vertically asymmetrical drilling (if its broke, fix with implausable hack...). Then I was somewhat surprise that even the middle block of the end flat face is not air tight - intended or just lack of attention to detail? I really wanted to try to speed up mid game mining. These certainly carve out a lot of rock, but the controllability of the resulting HV (and being an HV) leaves a lot to be desired so I end with more rock than ore - even from a large deposit and the extra messing around trying to maneuver even this small HV just means it all takes as long as using 6 small drills on a smaller HV and worse, you probably need to do a load manually with hand drill. I think I much prefer SE's flying miners. These are better for asteroid mining even if ironically they don't seem to want us to do that (I guess the only reason we can is an oversight).
HVs were specifically given the ability to mine in space, so it's intended that they can do that but I wish SVs had drills too.
I updated a few POIs today and started on a new Desert Rados POI, the Com Center. The exterior is half-done.
With all due respect, I see fit to agree to disagree with this... pwease Bug Report this. I'm sure @Pantera would agree with me. Also, i've Feedbacked the Devs on the Issue of the Boarding Ramps having problems with Vertical Clearance for Vehicles & kinda half-defeating their point in Vehicle Ramp use instead of mere Personnel use... I think it's just a matter of when they can actually find time to address it. ATM they as is, is at least a Band Aid Fix Implementation. Believe me, I look forward to improvements in Boarding Ramps for larger Vehicle use, especially Hover War Tanks & Mining HVs. (In addition to praying to Arceus for at least the smaller size Boarding Ramps for HV use for fancier schmancier Personnel Entry then just the normal Ramp... which to be honest I can find a bit lacking in needed size & extension distance.)
Well previous attempt at reporting/discussing these kind of things have ended up with a somewhat blunt intended response so I gave up and have to assume all such broken things are likely intended. Anyway - moral of this seems to be when In doubt, post it here - it seems to get a far more useful response.

Did mostly config work for today and watched The Expanse. Spent a bit of time on the Desert Com Center. Finished and textured the exterior and mapped out the rooms for the interior. Might recolor the big dish though. It's a bit too orange for my liking. Core Room. It's untextured and unfurnished. But it's amazing what a few pipes and some greebles on the ceiling can do for an empty room.
Another sarcastic remark - getting rather cutting these days. However, it is what I did - or at least tried to do. Not my fault stuff is broken.
Them were the days... H2/O2 was my favourite bit of machinery. No-one else seems to have liked it though!
