On our server, one player is calling the other a cheater because his core has a layer of blocks around it, then a layer of air, then layer of blocks. So the other one seems to think its cheating to put a space between it. Im just trying to see if Im missing something or whatever, so whats yalls opinion?
This has been a part of the game since pretty much the beginning. It is neither a cheat nor a glitch, but a symptom of the games mechanics. Since CVs have "no" Structural integrity, this can be done. In fact, this used to be a staple in most PvP ship designs.
Well, I assumed its not a cheat or anything like that. But is there something to that makes it hard to be destroyed or something?
Lag shots are when certain forms of game "Lag" cause the shots fired to enter hull of a ship instead of hit it. Once inside, unless it comes to empty space, the shot can make its way all the way to the core without detonating.
These have been fixed* in 6.0 *For most cases anyway. There's afaik still some very edgy cases where it happens.
