Gravity generators should create a new horizontal plane like planets and moons do. This sphere of influence should maybe be double the radius of the gravity field it generates to allow for easier leveling of big ships. This horizontal plane should also override those of planets/moons. This is mostly an aesthetic suggestion but it would also allow us to build closer to planets and moons. As it is right now i wouldn't want to build close to them as i really like flying straight to my bases. Also connected space bases/cvs would be easier to realize.
